TAVARES has contracted delivery services for the products sold through the online store. online with specialized carriers for deliveries in Portugal and abroad, and every effort is made to meet the shipping and delivery deadlines, although TAVARES cannot be held responsible for any delays in delivery beyond its control.
All goods are shipped via DHL, so TAVARES is only responsible for placing the items in suitable packaging designed for transportation.
Most deliveries are made on working days and during office hours to the delivery address indicated by the Customer when processing their order, so the Customer must ensure that the data entered when placing the order is correct by verifying it in full.
Within the scope of its Customer Satisfaction Policy, and under the applicable legal terms, for purchases made in the Online Shop TAVARES also allows the exchange or return (termination of the contract) of the products purchased, within 30 days from the date of receipt by the Customer, free of charge and without the need to indicate the reason, provided that they are in their original packaging and without any mark or sign of use.
To do so, the Customer must notify TAVARES in writing – via e-mail or letter – of their intention, although the products must still be returned within the indicated period of 30 days after receipt by the Customer, duly packed in their original packaging and accompanied by the respective invoice.
Under no circumstances will TAVARES receive any products without prior contact from the Customer.

When exchanging or returning products, the Customer acknowledges the following conditions and assumes full responsibility for any failure to comply with them:
All products marketed by TAVARES are covered by a warranty against any manufacturing defect, never less than 2 (two) years, which, being assured by the Brand itself, is international and valid at any Authorized Agent of the respective Brand in Portugal.
If the product purchased is defective in any way, TAVARES must be informed of this by providing the order number and a description of the anomaly and, after TAVARES has obtained information, the product must be sent to its physical store, with the costs of sending the products within the scope and within the period of the Guarantee being borne entirely by TAVARES.
Once the product has been received at TAVARES ‘ premises, it will be checked technically and, if any lack of conformity within the scope of the Guarantee is proven, the product will be sent to the Brand’s Technical Assistance and, once the problem has been solved, it will be sent to the Customer at the address indicated at no additional cost.
If, however, the technical check detects any signs of reckless use or an anomaly resulting from circumstances external to the product (e.g. a fall, humidity, etc.), the Customer will be contacted to indicate whether or not they wish the product to be repaired by sending it to the Brand’s Technical Assistance, in which case the repair and shipping costs will be borne by the Customer.
The commercial contractual relationship established between the Customer and TAVARES through the Online Shop shall be subject, without prejudice to the provisions specified herein, for the purposes of validity, interpretation and integration of any gaps, to Portuguese legislation.
In the event of any dispute arising from any contract entered into under the terms of these General Conditions of Sale, the Court with territorial jurisdiction shall be that of TAVARES ‘ registered office and which results from the application of the law on the organization of the Courts.
